SEPT. 6 - NOV. 1, 2008 - Timeless: Photographs by Imogen Cunningham
Imogen Cunningham, 1883-1976, was one of the first successful professional woman photographers in America. Her powerful personality and extraordinary images made her an icon in the world of photography. She founded the famous Group f.64 in the 1930s with Ansel Adams and Edward Weston.
Photography 414 presents silver and platinum prints from the Imogen Cunningham Trust, along with excerpts from her personal correspondence and other writings. On exhibit will be nearly 50 of her images, including portraits, still lifes and botanicals, all printed by her son, Rondal Partridge. The prints will be offered for sale by Photography 414, a nonprofit gallery.
